UPFs are being recognised as the next health hazard. It's scary what comes into this category, I won't look at a loaf of bread in the same way!

It's not so much the additives in bread as the residues of glyphosate (Roundup). Farmers spray the wheat with glyphosate just before harvest, to dry it out. This saves them money on energy bills for grain dryers.
