You need to clarify your situation with a little more detail if you can please.
What do you mean by a "better deal" ?
After all, an IVA, is an IVA, one is no better than the other.
Who can`t you get hold of ?
Who is your current Insolvency Practitioner ?
Go to your creditors why, for what purpose ?
McKenzie Jones associates are a firm of solicitors wanting to sue your IP for mis-selling your IVA, and charge you a whopping fee in the process, for no guarantee of success.
It most certainly is not a better deal, it is essentially a very dubious path to take, that will only cost you money, and leave you in a much worse position with your creditors.

Sadly you have as I have to. Contact your bank, get the payments stopped and file a dispute, unfortunately mckenzie jones convinced well x0

I had/ have an IVA in place but was contacted by a Ronald Jones by mail, which I responded to and after a reasonable telephone conversation received an email from ronald@missoldiva.com
I eventually agreed to a paid to date plan with McKenzie Jones and have now paid 5 of 6 £75 payments
Reading some info in your forum it appears that they are not a ‘nice’ company and like others I get no response from them to emails and telephone calls
Can I claim my money back somehow? Should I revert to my IVA company?
I’m so worried now I don’t know where to turn

Honestly these companies prey on the vulnerable. You should not pay them a penny more, put in a formal complaint and ask for your money back, that’s all you can do.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Lets be clear on what has happened here, they have tried to persuade you that your IVA was mis-sold, and to that end, have charged you a substantial fee in order to prove that.
Now the Iva may or may not have been suitable for you, but any complaint you have can be made yourself, for free, with absolutely no need to pay anyone any fee.
There doesn't appear to be any mention of what would happen to your debts even if you won your case, they would still remain, so you would be even more out of pocket than you were at the start.
Shocking way to treat debtors in my opinion.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. Your debt does not magically disappear, even if mis-selling is proved, you still have to find a solution to that issue, and any compensation you may end up with will be minus their 40% fee.
The way to avoid any of this is to get good and proper free debt advice in the first place, from someone without an agenda, and who is not trying to sell you something, never take advice from anyone who asks you for a fee !!!!!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards.
