0% spending credit cards

Hello,
I have a question regarding 0% spending credit cards. I want to apply for one this weekend, however, I have recently been given a 5k salary increase at work, but my first wage slip at this new salary will not be until the end of April. So if I apply for the credit card this weekend then when the lender runs the credit check they will see my salary at 30k and may offer me less credit.
Basically what I would like to know is, ideally I would like the card now, but if the extra 5k would make a difference in the amount they will lend me, then I will wait.
Also, when applying it asks if you have any co-dependants. Now, my wife is pregnant at the minute and is due to give birth in July, so obviously, at the moment of applying for this credit card, I dont have any dependencies, but I will have one in a few months. Could I say no to this question?
Any help would be much appreciated.

You will have to “declare” your salary to credit provider and they can only check against recent previous declarations recorder on the National Hunter database, so as far you have not recently declared your most recent salary, you are perfectly entitled to declare your new salary, even if has not yet started to be paid.
if it was a Bank account asking for income eligibility criteria, that could have been slightly different as some banks (not all) they have access/share real income information from third party organisations.1 -
