We were in the same boat - months going by with no movement. We were cash buyers who suddenly found out we were now in a chain was 6 upwards and still not complete. We pulled out and found another chain free property...however are now sitting about waiting for their probate. In any event, my own buyer is starting to get impatient so we are now looking for short term rentals so that we can complete our sale and wait for probate to come through on the new place. Expensive, but worth it to us.
