Stick with 2 suppliers or go 1 supplier dual fuel?

I have gas with EON
Electricity with British gas after the 2 smaller firms went bust couple years ago.

The £2500 cap is that if you are with 1 dual fuel company or even with both? 
Atm seems like im paying like £2000 to each supplier. 
Is it better to just use 1 either bg or edf?

£2500 is a "typical use" figure for 2900 kWh electric and 12000 kwh gas. If you use more it will cost more whether you use one or two suppliers. £4K is high use, what are your annual kWh figures for each fuel?

As above, there is no overall £2500 cap...
Your usage is about 60% higher than the average kWh numbers given above, so you are paying about 60% more. No mystery.
There is no point in switching at present, as there are no cheaper fixes than SVT under the EPG (well, there is now one from Ovo, but most people think prices will soon fall below that level).

We need your annual kWh figures for each fuel. One bill covering 2 months in winter doesn't really tell us much.
The figures are on your annual statement, or calculate it from bills roughly a year apart.

If you put your address details into Uswitch you should get a summary showing your estimated usage.
