Declaration of trust template

I have two BTL properties for few years on my name only. To save on tax, I was going to add wife's name to both property deeds. While talking to solictor, he informed me that I don't need to add her name to the property deed. Only create declaration of trust. I don't need to submit to HMRC till they ask me. I have seen many post on this forum and on HMRC forum doing the same thing. I have searched everywhere but can not find Declaration of trust template. Solictor is asking for £250. has anyone got copy that I can use?

Given the importance of getting it correct I would say £250 is not unreasonable.
Having said that your solicitors advice about HMRC is incorrect if you seeking an unequal split for tax purposes. You need to submit Form 17 with evidence (the deed) prior to any income you wish to redirect (or at least within 60days).2 -
