Bulb have my Warm Home Discount payment, but.......

I was a customer of Bulb energy until last year, and am now with Octopus Energy, who have taken over Bulb. Bulb have informed me that they have my £150 Warm Home payment but to claim it, I have to open an account with Wise and will be required to pay in £20 to activate the Wise account. I don't want to do any of this, as I already have PayPal who I have been with for almost 20 years. Can Bulb do this? Why can't they pay the money into my Octopus account? At my age (88) I don't need any more junk on my PC, in fact I am trying to cut back on this sort of thing. Thanks in advance.

Have you not posted this before? I believe people told you then you don’t need to open an account with Wise. Just provide your details so they can pay you.1

Quite correct, Goater. However, I had completely forgotten (age and my dear wife is terminally ill). I'll delete this post if possible.
