The reversing camera on my 2013 ix35 is dreadful, does anyone know if it's possible to get an aftermarket plug and play replacement?

In what way is it "dreadful"?  Does it not give a clear view, is it misaligned, something else?  What I'm really asking is, is it something that a bit of a clean or a bit of tinkering with the alignment might cure for nowt?
There are dozens of replacements and after-market kits available, just stick the details into Google.  But I would question whether it's really a necessity?  Although, for the price of some of the after-market kits, I guess it's not a huge amount of money to dish out if you find it useful.

There is a trick to help with a blurry and hazed camera lens and that's polishing the camera lens with a cutting compound, similar to the way milky headlights can be polished back to clear.
Plenty of Youtube vids show you how.

But if it's always been poor, it could also be due to a poor quality screen rather than the camera or both.
