I can understand a vegan not wanting to eat an Easter egg, but this seemed an odd alternative. There seem to be a lot of dinosaurs, unicorns and crocodiles in the Easter treats aisle.

Hot cross bun bacon butties are AMAZING.MSE_James said:M&S has this rather odd mash-up between a hot cross bun and an egg:
and also a BLT HCB with bonus MoneySaving yellow sticker (I saw a tweet from a retired bishop denouncing this once, albeit tongue in cheek):

Apologies if I have the wrong end of the stick, but there's a difference between eating food that looks like something and eating food that has the something in it. For example, I'd happily eat a cake that looked like a jumper, but I wouldn't eat a cake that had a jumper baked into it.Nelliegrace said:I can understand a vegan not wanting to eat an Easter egg, but this seemed an odd alternative. Tried a McDonald's hot cross bun pie at lunchtime. Not bad. Don't fancy the hot cross bun latte they're also offering.

Much as I dislike McD's, I am strangely tempted to buy a pie and divide it by 4 for a taste testing (family over later).
ETA: maybe not!No man is worth crawling on this earth.
