It's that time again: what bizarre Easter flavours are you seeing in the shops?
Last year's examples included Co-op's 'masala & chilli hot cross buns', Aldi's 'hot cross bun pudding' and Costa's 'hot cross bun latte'. See more of them in 2022's Strange hot cross bun & Easter egg flavours thread.

Technically I haven't seen it in a shop, but hot cross bun mayo is certainly bizarre!

I wouldn't say no to any of the above!MSE_Laura_F said:Last year's examples included Co-op's 'masala & chilli hot cross buns', Aldi's 'hot cross bun pudding' and Costa's 'hot cross bun latte'. See more of them in 2022's Strange hot cross bun & Easter egg flavours thread.
Spotted at the cheese counter in Morrisons today: chocolate and orange flavoured white Stilton 250g, shaped like a yellow Easter egg,No man is worth crawling on this earth.

I agree with pumpkin89. That's a great sounding combination, and I would give them a home in my tummy.
I do remember having a slice of cheese, or a dollop of a good cream cheese in hot cross bun, to cut the sweetness but not with pickle.0 -
I suppose I'm a traditionalist where hot cross buns are concerned and don't go for all this 'gilding the lily'.

I agree @Cloth_of_Gold but the banoffee pie hot cross buns sound yummy.

M&S has this rather odd mash-up between a hot cross bun and an egg:
and also a BLT HCB with bonus MoneySaving yellow sticker (I saw a tweet from a retired bishop denouncing this once, albeit tongue in cheek):

I quite like the look of this! But judging by the price of the YS BLT HCB, won't be going out of my way to buy the product.MSE_James said:M&S has this rather odd mash-up between a hot cross bun and an egg:No man is worth crawling on this earth.
