I am new to this, but I am not new to the energy business. I have over 13 years of billing and customer service experience.
I would suggest now is a time to look into what fixed price/capped price offers are about as increases are highly likely in q1 2008. I would ensure that the price does not have a tie in offer and that the premium does not increase your annual spend by any more than 5%. That way, when the increases hit you are protected against them, however you would not be tied in to any deal and therefore can check prices once all the majors have increased.
