Joint account with debit card cashback?

I'm using Santander 123 as our joint account for paying every common DD, mortgage, and fixed payments.
But I'd like to take away our debit card spend, since I'm getting no cashback in there.
I checked Chase and Algbra, but none of them seem to accept Joint accounts. Is there any joint account with decent cashback on card spend?

Use a cashback credit card (one account but with additional card for partner) instead?
And always pay it off in full monthly to avoid any interest.
Works for us, currently using Aqua (0.5% cashback).0 -
We use cashback credit cards and have it paid by DD in our santander 123 lite along with all the other bills, works great.

You'll need to do the sums to work out if it'd be better value for you to keep your 123 for bills and use Edge for debit card cashback, or whether to just change your existing 123 account and accept a bit less cashback. If you can provide approx figures for each category of bills (council tax, energy, phone/TV/broadband, Santander mortgage) etc and roughly how much you spend on a debit card we can give a more accurate answer.0 -
Edge only gives cashback on Supermarket and travel (not even flights). Not worth it tbh. I already did the comparison between them and 123 works better for us. I'm just trying to find an alternative to get cashback on general card expenses.WillPS said:Chaoscontrol said:I'm using Santander 123 as our joint account for paying every common DD, mortgage, and fixed payments.

Supermarkets, travel, eating out... I know I could find specific things for each, but don't to go for the hassle. I prefer a generic cashback for all card spend.
Not a credit card fan tbh. I don't like getting tied to their crappy apps and systems. Might look into it if there's really no other option.
Part of why I want to split this is to keep money separated. Fixed expenses in the joint, variable expenses separate. Using a CC would make me still add the variable chunk to my same joint account.0 -

On a day to day basis all you can do on them is check your statements and pay up, it's not like a bank account where you need to manage payees, transfers, DDs etc etc.0
