Chase bank reviews for someone who prefers cash!

Good afternoon
I have a very low income so have to find ways to make my money work really hard for me. I'm always on the look out for ways to earn extra pennies where I can. (I've switched bank account/use cashback sites etc.) I get paid in cash so I always prefer to pay for everything in cash where I can (with the exception of online spending for which I have 1 credit card for.)
Having just received the weekly MSE newsletter with a mention about Chase bank yet again, I'm sat here pondering whether it would be worth me looking into? I'm aware that from April I would have to pay in £500 a month. But that would more than cover my monthly supermarket shop and fuel bill, and with the 1% cashback I could earn myself £60 cashback a year. I know it doesn't sound like a lot, but to me, it could buy me nearly 6 months worth of cat food!
I don't need it for the savings side as I'm lucky enough to have some savings and I'm very clued up on it so they are already earning good interest. So it's only for the cashback.
Could you give me your reviews please! Because I will find it very hard to go around using a card to pay for everything instead of handing over cash which is why I'm so reluctant!
Thank you 😊

One thing to bear in mind is that you can't pay cash or cheques directly into a Chase account. You'd need to have another account you pay cash into and then transfer it.I've got a Chase account as a spare and it's been fine. Why don't you just give it a go and see if it suits you? It takes about 10 minutes to open in the app and you can close it just as easily if you don't like it.0

If you want cashback, you have to use the debit card.0

The £500 minimum deposit needs to be done this month for eligibility to earn 1% cashback in April.0

As an alternative have you looked at switching your current account to another bank? Halifax have a £175 switch incentive at the moment

I’m on a low income also.
I use Chase & Halifax for 1% and 5% cash back.
Switch money from one to another to make sure I pay in enough each month.
Keep savings in chase easy access and a standing order funds my regular savers.
