Barclays Current account or basic

I've just opened a new Barclays current account. They never sent any welcome letters etc, just debit card and account details etc..

I'm not sure if it is a full account or a Baaic account. Is there a way to tell what sort or account it is?

I cannot log into app yet, only online on web browser as I'm still waiting on my card pin and app will not allow me to log in without it.

On the Web browser online banking it show the account as  "The Barclays Bank A/C" ..

That's a standard current account. Anyone not eligible for a normal account can apply for their Basic account.

Not sure you’re eligible?

If you’re not eligible for our current accounts, don’t yet have a UK account, or you’re experiencing financial difficulty, a Barclays Basic Account could be right for you.

If you can't login, where do you see this? It's the same webpage for all sorts of their current accounts:

Thanks. I thought it may have been as I have a basic account with Halifax and it specifically says "basic account" on the online banking.

I had credit issues in 2019 so wasn't sure if they would give me a full account or just another basic one.

I have always wondered the same myself On the App/ website  it says “The Barclays Bank Account” it was opened through my app at a Branch however No overdraft with the option to apply by calling

I believe that is a standard current account. It should specifically state if it’s a basic account. Easy method to triple check is to attempt to order something like a chequebook. Cheques are unavailable with a basic account so if it blocks you, it’s likely you have their basic. If you can advance, it’s a full current account.
