Morning
Hugs to those that want/need them, those who are poorly and those who are looking after a poorly person x
Happy birthday to those with a birthday x
Dry start to the day.
DH and DS1 getting ready for work, I'm showered, dressed and enjoying my first cuppa and my porridge whilst on here. DS2 settled and happy.
Dinner last night was use up - we had smoked sausage, mushroom and cheese fritatta, hot new potatoes, stuffed peppers, salad. Tonight I'm not sure but will organise later.
Work was still awful, my tech semi sorted but now something else has gone wrong so techs needing to work on that - hoping this morning will see some resolutions.
Keep safe and well x

Morning All
Thanks for the start nmlc, hope the tech gremlins leave you soon.
Damp and dreary again today, it rained most of yesterday which was a little depressing! Hoping for some glimpses of sunshine today.
Ruby - I'm swimming 22 miles (over a few weeks) for Diabetes UK. Got another mile in last night so 6 in total now.
Meeting up with some friends for a long overdue catch up later so don't need to make a packed lunch today as we'll be eating about 5pm.
Hope you're all well and have a good Wednesday, take care. XX

Morning folks and thanks NMLC. A beautiful start with the sunrise here, the whole sky was glowing. Alas it's fading now but it was lovely while it lasted.
I am expecting an early doors delivery from Ocado so ready and waiting. The 99p delivery slots seem pretty regular for Wednesdays now so taking advantage.
I had a lovely meet up with DF yesterday and the carvery lived up to expectations. Whilst chatting in the bar afterwards I had a surprise text from BFF's DIL asking me if I was free today. Why I asked. Her and OH are off work and hoping to take BFF out somewhere and did I want to meet up for a coffee. So that's arranged for today unless I hear different. If she is having an off day it will have to be cancelled.
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx"If you dream alone it will remain just a dream. But if we all dream together it will become reality"11 -
Hi everyone,
I am keeping my fingers crossed for your meet up TA.
Camelot, wow, I am full of admiration for you.
My dentist visit went well, although I had the worst possible start. I couldn't find my handbag with my keys and purse and eventually had to borrow Steve's keys and credit card (I remembered on the way that I'd used Laura and Brian's car last and of course it was in there). Then halfway there I realised that I didn't know where to park because it was a two hour appointment and I usually park in the local Asda which has a 90 minute limit. I eventually remembered somewhere but I was a few minutes late. Luckily things went better from then on. I have temporary crowns for a couple of weeks, technology has certainly come on, he did ultrasound scans of my teeth and showed me the pictures which was sort of eerie.
I seem to have caught a cold (probably from Esben who has been coughing and spluttering the last couple of days) and I am feeling very tired, having been awake since 5 so I think I will be going back to bed soon.
Have a good day.11 -

Morning all
sad of hear of the death of Paul O’Grady on the news. His books are worth a read, very interesting life, and a great talent and compassionate man gone too soon. 😔
garden stuff planned for me today

Morning folks.Such great news TA. It will be so lovely. My fingers are crossed for you.My drive up to Oban yesterday was OK. The promised heavy rain didn't happen, instead it was persistent drizzle. I collected my order from Marks and only a little shopping. My plan was to buy a couple of gifts to take to Seoul but ended up with a coffee mug and two wee espresso cups for myself. 😊 The shop was full of lovely stuff as well as touristy things so I had a nice browse but nothing suitable for gifting came my way.My only plan is to pack a grab bag for myself. I had one before coming back home though it got dismantled, now I feel the need to get one ready again. It's all laid out, just needs to be packed up. Not a taxing job. If the dankness lifts I want to get out and about.Hugs to those who can use one. Happy Wednesday to all.11

Morning all
Miserable day here drizzly rain and very foggy it feels very damp as well. One chap coming today and he wanted to go to the seafront for some fish and chips, I am hoping to get him to have a short walk along the prom but he really dislikes any kind of bad weather so he may not want to go.
Dinner tonight will be hm chicken kiev with some cubed garlic potatoes and green beans, I will make the kievs this morning and leave them in the fridge ready to cook later.
Camelot what a lovely thing to do, good luck with the swim xx
TA I hope you get to see your dear friend today xx

Morning everyone
Dull and drizzly here too. No work today as I have a doctors appointment. I also need to pop into Asda for some Easter eggs as I haven't bought them yet...will also look for something to wear for both little one and my nephew. I've also got a prescription to pick up.
Had a nice long chat with eldest DD yesterday - she got home from Dubai about lunchtime.
TA - hope all goes well for your meet up with your friend
I'd better get dressed as I need to leave soon
Hope everyone has a good day today x11 -
Morning. No sowing of tomatoes occurred, my body thinks it's been run over by a bus and doesn't want to play. Comedian was good last night but the seats are made for tiny people, I couldn't even get my knees in behind the chair in front without sitting sideways. It's a bit brr today so I've put the heating on. I will empty and clean the fire this week at some point too, I don't think we'll be using it again. I may even go the whole hog and take the electric blanket off the bed. But that may be a step too far for the now. Opticians today to check the contacts, I'm impressed with this pair, they are pretty near perfect. No streaky lights at night too which is great. A day of potter awaits...TA, hope your meet up comes off. camelot well done! but I did laugh, it's like Eric Morecambe going somewhere for arthritis and he got it...Izzy, well done! and don't talk yourself down, talk yourself up!
Gers, please tell me your grab bag is the kind that preceeds a spontaneous holiday somewhere...Ruby, your clients sound so lovely, they never want an awful lot do they? snoozer, better luck at the beginning next time! Take care all, shout ot the missing and/or poorly, have a good day if you can!
