BHF shop on ebay
It is worth checking out the various charities that have shops on eBay. I have bought several things from the BHF shop and not only do I get nice things, but proceeds go to charity

I collect (and use) vintage film cameras - the BHF eBay shop is one of the most reliable places to buy these from on eBay - the descriptions etc are accurate & detailed - presumably supplied by a volunteer with an interest who has examined the camera.
I'd assume that they are equally good with other items.0 -

However I am not sure your last line automatically follows! They have two shops in the city where I live that leave me underwhelmed to say the least.0
