Carers allowance when coming off Universal Credit

Hi, my grandaughter gets carers allowance and the carer element on Universal Credit. Unfortunately she is having to stop working and we don't know how the carers allowance works. She thinks she has to claim Income Support, but does she have to claim Caerers Allowance or will it be transferred?
If she has been told wrong could you tell me what she has to do now she will not be working. Thanks in advance for any help.

She would just stay on Universal Credit.
Nothing would change benefit wise, other than the Universal Credit award increasing, owing to the lack of earnings.

Claiming Income Support would be completely impossible because Income Support has been replaced by Universal Credit. As TomTom says stopping working does not end the UC. All she needs to do is to satisfy to UC when their work ends.

She can't claim it again because she's already claiming it.
