I have been having issues with my TV and the Netfilix’s app https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/79947824#Comment_79947824

So I bought a Google Chromecast HD with Google TV and now having other issues.

I have asked Netflix’s but it was like pulling hens teeth and they are as about as much use as a chocolate fireguard.

I have connected Google Chromecast HD with Google TV to my TV and when i watch Netflix’s the sound is distorted (Bad echo) and out of sync even after I try to sync it via the home app.

I have tried to sync the sound via my google home app but still having issues and i have also reset the Chromecast by pressing the small button on the device and unplugging everything for 3 + minutes but still have the same issues. (I have done this several times now)

it will be ok when i start to watch then about 30 seconds in it all goes wrong again. It only happens on Netflix.

I player and You tube work just fine.

I have tried on a Samsung non smart TV and everything works fine so I reset the Chromecast and put back on the Polaroid tv after resetting the TV also with no internet connection and I am still having the same issue.

Help please.

Seems quite common if you google "Chromecast HD netflix audio".

I have no idea how to use a chromecast, but is there an audio setting to force the sound output to always be stereo?  It may be a problem with the 5.1 sound tracks on films, and you likely won't hear any difference if you switch to stereo.

The only helpful suggestion I saw was to ensure the chromecast has enough power- if it is powered from the TV it must be from the high power USB (hdd) port not the one for USB memory sticks.

I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

(except air quality and Medical Science ;))

I have now fixed this issue.

I tested the CCwGTV on other TV's today and it works perfectly so i check my sound again on the Tv by tuning off everything and setting the headphone option to line out

I then turned everything back on one by one and DTS TruSound is the issue so that's now turned off and everythink else is back to on.

    Dynamic Bass - On

    Digital out - PCM

    Headphone now back to Headphone

Because people spoke about sound bars etc that I don't have on this TV

I didn't think the basic settings on my TV  would make a difference but clearly they do.

I now have Netflix's working on my Tv through CCwGTV

    Thanks
