Slate Tiles

I have dark grey slate tiles on my kitchen floor.
I mop them daily but to me they dont look clean & seem dull.
Any ideas what is good to clean them with or do they need a bit of a buff with something?

I wonder if boiled lineseed oil would do rub it on leave to to dry the rub off with warm water and a rag thats what we did on a slate fireplace and it came up shiny buut not too shiny0

have they been sealed. If not then you could use a product called enrich and seal. This will give them a permenant wet look.

I am sure that i've heard milk is meant to do wonders... can anyone confirm that this is indeed the case?

My cleaner doesnt have bleach in - although I didnt think about it until pointed out!
