Hi I’ve just set up a direct debit for a hobby I’ve started that states it’s 3 months minimum contract. If I was to cancel within the 3 month timeframe what could happen?
Many thanks in advance for your responses

sounds like if it's a minimum 3 months contract you have to pay for 3 months. If you cancelled you'd still owe the money and if you didn't pay it you would be chased for it, eventually by a collection company.
unless there is something in the T&Cs about cancelling within 14 days or something. if you see something I would screen shot it now to save just in case they change things. also keep copies of anything gives you a right to cancel at any time - like them not fulfilling their side of the bargain like classes not being scheduled or made available to you.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
