I bought a tin of garden peas and when I opened them I found an entire intact white snail shell.
I telephoned and the customer services lady at co op was ever so casual about it and she said "Well things do get through they are garden peas".
She took the reference no of the can and said I,d recieve a letter and didnt really seem surprized.
I,ve never come across any such thing in a can.
I,d be shocked if I found that in dog food never mind peas.
I know snails can be edible, but I think their having a laugh.
