     As  Spoonie says I think you have confused this site with Carers UK.  That is a well known and well respected charity.

    UKcareguide  -  possibly not, and possibly trying to persuade less discerning readers that this is linked to Carers UK ?
      
   Contrast what moneyhelper (a reputable site) says about PIP and UC:

     " If you’re getting Personal Independence Payment (PIP), it will continue to be paid along with your Universal Credit payment.

 They won’t affect the amount you get in Universal Credit. " 

  with the incorrect info given by the site you have quoted.
