AXA Private Health - Guided Option

Hello. I have been offered the Guided Option on renewal of my private health policy. The difference in cost is significant per month. Has anyone else taken this option and researched what ramifications are or had experience of making a claim? I believe from my reading that if I needed to make a claim AXA will give me the names of three consultants they will agree to me seeing - I can choose which one of those three - but I cannot choose which specialist I see. Any thoughts/comments please would be gratefully received.
