My 0% is running out!!!

As the title suggested I have about 6 weeks or so until my 0% runs out. I have £2,500 on my card which I want to move to another 0% card. I am thinking about going for the Nationwide Classic Credit Card as I have my mortgage with them and I am hoping as a result (and because I have been such a good customer for the past 2½ years they will give me a healthy credit limit!) :A

I presume they do not charge for balance transfers?

Never assume anything when it comes to credit card Ts & Cs. Always read them thoroughly. Also, don't just accept what you read on a discussion board about Ts & Cs without double checking, because card issuers change them from time to time.

However, from a quick look at their website, it would appear (but check) that there is no charge for Balance Transfers. Why don't you phone them and ask them. Say you have read their website but want to be doubly sure.

  • I applied for a barclaycard platinum at the beginning of june, I got my card on the 14th June and the 0% was until 1st may 2006!

I make that 10 1/2 months interest free.

    Try it!

Likewise! Have just done the same. They were very quick, and gave a not overly generous, but reasonable credit limit. They charge the 2% fee for balance transfers though (up to £50 maximum fee); it seems that this is standard for a lot of cards lately. Would definitely recommend though.
  • Only thing with Barclaycard is they will only let you tranfer a balance up to 5k NO MATTER HOW BIG A LIMIT THEY SET YOU

but still a good card to own cos of the 12 month 0% offer

I can recommend the Halifax One card also. I found the application process with them pretty quick. You should start the application process now.
