Hi I have an old 32" Polaroid tv @2016 build.in my bedroom.
When i use the dedicated Netflix app or button on the remote it takes ages to load and when it does load i get to click on my profile picture or half way through choosing what i want to watch and it crashes and goes back to the Netflix logo and starts again to load or just sits at the loading stage of the program i want to watch with the red circle just going round at 99% if i am lucky.
Some times i get to watch the film but it is pure luck when that happens.
I have reset the TV and checked for updates.
Checked the internet WiFi and have wired all ok and hard wire doesn't make a difference.
I have no problems watching Netflix's on my phones in the bedroom.
Sometimes i lose the picture on the TV when i turn it on to watch normal TV but have the sound With the error "No Video" on the screen
What can i do?

I have considered a replacement 32" TV if i cant resolve these issue but will do a new thread later if need be.
Thanks
Spending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.

It may be that the version of Netflix on your TV is old and no longer supported and the TV won't allow it to be updated - it's an issue that I had a couple of years ago with iPlayer on my TV from 2013. One possible low cost answer is to use a streaming device, I now watch Iplayer through my Fire TV Stick.

The current version of our TV is £2,400 but on the day we bought it a £50 Amazon Firestick and a £100 AppleTV worked vastly better with streaming services than the built in applications. As time has gone on the gap has got wider.

If your only issue is the applications, you are better off buying a better streaming service than a new TV. They remain a secondary consideration for TV manufacturers

Sometimes in these cases its as simple as clearing any cache or uninstalling and reinstalling the app - if its possible on your TV.

On my TV it's often just as simple as force stopping and re-opening the app when it's gone a bit wobbly.

Wouldn't be buying a new TV if you are otherwise happy with it, worst case scenario you buy a cheap Firestick and use that for your streaming apps.
