The Festival of Quilts, Europe’s leading patchwork and quilting event, celebrates its 20th Anniversary at the NEC Birmingham from 3rd – 6th August 2023. We’ve got 5 pairs of tickets to give away (RRP £37.00 per pair).
There’s a bumper line-up of special guest appearances, 700 competition quilts on display, exhibitions, workshops and talks (the Festival’s biggest programme ever) and hundreds of exhibitors. Modern machine quilter and YouTube star, Angela Walters from The Midnight Quilt Show, is flying in from the USA to host talks and workshops, and there’s a special 20 Quilts for 20 Years showcase of competition winning quilts from the Festival’s last two decades – a wonderful opportunity to view these masterpieces again.
Visitors can expect spectacular galleries by some of the world’s leading textile artists and groups, Denise Labadie, Ekta Kaul, Elizabeth Brimelow, Joe Cunningham, Laura Kemshall, L’Merchie Frazier and Sandra Meech, and exhibitions by the European Quilt Association, International Quilt Museum Nebraska, Studio Art Quilts Associates, The Quilters’ Guild, Zero3, and artists shortlisted for The Fine Art Textiles Award 2023.
