Why is it, with so many quartz watches, even ones which are not cheapies, the second hands rarely align with the minute markers?
Have you noticed this on your watch?

My Casio Wave Ceptor has a facility to align the hands if I remember rightly. Haven't needed to do it, as they are perfectly aligned already.0

Both my 20 year old Pulsar PSR10 and more recent purchased Seiko watches have perfectly-aligned second hands.
My late father's Timex second hand swept continuously (iirc) rather than stepper-motored like more modern quartz watches so that would never align.0 -
I have five analogue watches and each has a way of manually adjusting each hand in case of misalignment.
Consult the manual or a youtube tutorial.0
