Be aware please
This is David from CID(Credit Investigation Department). Hope you are doing well. I just would like to tell you that we have got a legal complaint against you from "CapitalOne Credit Card Ltd, 118 Money Payday Ltd, Dot Dot Payday Ltd, Vanquis Credit card Ltd, Safety Net Payday Limited, Lowell Financial Group Ltd, Moorcroft Financial Group Ltd " where you are not making the contractual payments and all of them default accounts as well.

The rest of the email is worded exactly the same as the Colin email who works with David in the CID and claiming a SOE will be actioned for the same amount quoted by Colin1

Clearly Spam.
If that text is taken directly from the email the grammar, alone, tells you it's not legit.4 -
Had that one myself one or twice, its an oldy, been doing the rounds for a while.
Colin and David change their names a few times, they get the company names semi correct, and purport to work for the CID, the CID of what ? lol.
Also, a legal complaint ?
Altogether a very clumsy, uninspiring, and blatantly obvious scam attempt.

I hope he's got a better grasp of basic grammar than Colin and David have2 -
Hi all! I got one of these today! I was scared at first but as I read it a couple times I saw how badly worded it was with terrible grammar. I know my grammar is not perfect, but that's because I work nights and I'm knackered. It did frighten me for a second til I found this thread and I breathed a huge sigh of relief that I'm not the only person receiving these emails and they are not legitimate!!

Hi everyone.
I've recieved the same email this morning word for word from someone called Ares Elton0 -
I get calls all the time from these scammers. This morning I decided to play along.
They offered to consolidate all my (nonexistent) debts into one monthly payment. The guy on the phone asked me how much debt I thought I had in the UK. I went in with what I thought would be an exciting number for him, £600,000. To my surprise, apparently, the minimum amount they can help with is £100 MILLION!!! I questioned him on this because it seemed a bit much, but yes. 100 million pounds sterling, not rupees, is correct.
Next time they call I'll tell them that I've got a couple of billion in unsecured debt. Maybe they can help me set up a few dozen coal mines in the north of England and buy a chunk of HS2.
Utterly ridiculous!0 -
