Hi I've just come across this new free entry competition to win a bottle of Champagne. Theres a maximum of 1 entry per person and 199 maximum entries.

@Compinglady97 Where are you finding all these competition sites?
Looks like from Facebook something called Competition Countdown?

Please can you make sure it is the site link, with no extra tracking or referral on the end, thanks.

Also most of the competitions you post end early, please go to the cog on the post, click edit, change the closing date in the box that appears under the title box when editing to the previous day if possible, as it will close the thread and it will be moved to Game Over. Save some of us wading through closed competitions on Competitions Time. Thanks.

Hi is this what people were upset about? I couldn't figure out people saying I'm affiliated with the sites when every post I've done is a different site!

When I find a free comp on competition Countdown I cross post it over here to help people out. Now I'm looking I can see the end of the url says competition Countdown.  I didn't notice this or know it would be  a problem. I've been quite upset to be Frank as I couldn't figure out why people are upset with my posts!

I'll keep an eye out for.when they close early and I can delete the competition Countdown from the end of the URL. Is that why I've been having problems?

That makes complete sense, that is why I asked, rather than jumping to conclusions. 

It may well be, because it did get me wondering too. Sadly as you are a fairly new poster, people do tend to keep an eye on the newer posters more, because a lot of people do join to just to post their competitions or their friends or businesses competitions. 

I know they are different paid sites but I hope you can see maybe someone thought you were part of a paid site advertising competition? Just something to consider. 

I very much appreciate anyone who posts competitions on the forum, especially those that post correctly, including the title which you've aced. We need people to post or it will sadly disappear like many other sites or forums, this used to be a fantastic community but many people have left, a couple of years ago now when they changed the forum.
