How many people depend on you financially?

How do you answer this, it's a standard question on CC and loan applications.
It says include people you live with, spouse and children.
My wife has a job and no debt so she can provide enough for our children and I don't support her other than paying half the bills and mortgage so they aren't 100% dependent on me.

They don't ask 100%.Your children depend on you. Your wife doesn't.0

I guess the acid test is, if you suddenly had no income, could you (the family) survive on your wife's income alone? If the answer is no, then they are dependent on you.

But presumably you do pay towards your kids? In which case I'd just say your kids are your dependents... assuming you dont regularly give parents/siblings etc with monies to provide for their daily needs1
