How can I get my iPhone to email photos as attachments again?

My iPhone always used to send photos as email attachments but about a year ago the mail programme started embedding them in the body of the email. It's driving me nuts as you then have to save each image separately to the laptop. Is there any way of getting it to send them as attachments again?

Save changing for a decent phone
maybe you could use a different mail app?I use K9 mail which does attachments ... well, it does on Android!1
