Has anyone been to this year's Ideal Home Show at Olympia? We're going with friends and wondering what the best food options are?
In particular has anyone here tried the Greg Wallace pop-up restaurant and if so what did you think?

We ate in the food court but be warned there are fewer seats this year than previously. I also had an issue in that I am a coeliac and checked the allergen cards on each stall only to be told by virtually every single one that the cards are wrong but they are forced to display them, but not to take any notice. Luckily the Indian street food stall managed to feed me. The pop up restaurant did look nice, at 11.45 there was already a queue so it might be worth seeing if you can book in advance. It was a set menu and I think it was £29 per person.
I was very disappointed in the show generally, we usually spend all day there but this time including a stop for food and a glass of Pimms we were done in just over 2 hours.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. So we did pre-book the Greg Wallace meal and glad we did as all three sittings were fully booked; you couldn't just turn up on the day.The food and service was very good and it was nice to sit in the calm and quiet away from all the riff-raff in the food court. The show was busy but queues for the two modular show homes weren't too bad. Funnily enough the biggest crowd on the main stage was for MSE's founder, Martin Lewis. Some of the traders on the mezzanine level were a bit pushy but overall an enjoyable and interesting way to spend half a day.Every generation blames the one before...
