Morning folks and thanks GERS.  No sun this morning, just intermittent showers getting ready for April. We had the most horrendous hail stones thundering down yesterday afternoon.

Just a quickie before I rouse the DGDs for brekkie and then crack the whip so they are ready to be picked up by a friend's mum for the school run. Then I will start the Friday Tidy but it will be interrupted by the hairdresser coming mid morning. A cut is much needed it's looking a bit on the wild side.

It's sunny here atm so I have a wash load on.

Yesterday whilst walking to the village hall I got caught in a storm (thunder/lightening/hail/torrential rain).  I had to sit in my very very wet jeans

I also like Race across the World.

No plans for the rest of the day.

Good morning, thanks for starting Gers.

I meant to look up dosset boxes, no one else seemed to know either!

Sunny here, yesterday turned into a sunny and windy day, cold though.

We are going to take the caravan out this morning for a short drive, Dh likes to do that after it's stood all winter. We'll be going away for a few days the week after next, so getting prepared now, the cupboards will need cleaning out etc, and it's dusty.

Glad your Mum is feeling better Ruby.

Strange that both your dogs injured their right legs Muddy, hope they'll be ok.

Back.  

All my chores got done yesterday, perhaps not exactly 'chores' as they weren't difficult. Bedding changed, old stuff washed and hung on clothes horse was the most challenging. Having two to put on the duvet cover really helped, wish I'd thought of it earlier in the winter. 

This morning I'll have my usual telephone call from Australia before I start my day. I'm never sure if hearing about the high temperatures there cheer me up or depress me. 😀 

For lunch I have some wilted veggie soup, I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying it. Think it's because I didn't put the broccoli in and used some soffritto for the first time. 

Nelski - thanks for thinking of me but I've never watched Race the World, perhaps I should start.

Morning All

I like Race across the World! Watched it last night, does seem quite challenging.

Raining here, typical as it's the cross country race for school in a big country park, they will be very muddy when they get back.

I've swum 2 of my 22 miles, hoping to get some more done over the weekend but DS1 and family are coming for the weekend so we'll see.

Morning everyone Taff I want you to move in with me once again your positive attitude as given me a kick up the backside again I could feel myself losing it and picking on I get so disheartened when I’ve been really good and don’t lose any weight and I know I’ve got a under active thyroid and it’s age but I sometimes find it such a struggle but I’ve give myself a good talking to and I’m back on a mission at least it’s not going the wrong way . I’m not at work until 12 last one of the week it hasn’t been to hectic this week shepherds pie with plenty of veg tonight I had made them a couple of weeks ago so just took them out of the freezer. I’ve got a 10 pounds off 40 voucher for Lidl so I will be using that on Saturday it’s a good saving it’s bright here at the minute but we have had some heavy showers and more to come so I will have some wet dog walks this weekend unless I manage to dodge the showers and it has to get colder roll on the summer. Forgot to say everyone here has had a text off the doctors asking us our height and weight so that they can keep there records up to date I was tempted to put six stone wet through because I probably will be before I managed to get an appointment with our doctors.Thinking of all the poorlies hugs to those that need them have a good day everyone whatever you are doing

Morning all well the sun is in the sky and i have windows open DD2 called last night and she and DGS are coming for the weekend as DSIL is working ,we also have friends coming for dinner tomorrow so we can finish off our plans for our trip to Thailand next month. Housework is being done then i need to pop to the shops for some baby wipes as i am nearly out i like to have everything here so DD doesn't have to worry 
Right better drink this cuppa then i need to get on with downstairs and wash the floors . Have a good day whatever you are up to stay safe warm and dry xx

Morning everyone
The weather forecast says sunshine for today but it's chucking it down at the minute! Hopefully it will stop before I have to go out to go to work.
Eldest DD is in Dubai with a friend visiting another friend...she says it's too fancy for her and no one walks anywhere - the foods good though. So at least she won't be moving there! Lots of photos of the beach club they went to yesterday....looked very posh.
I'm going for an Indian meal tonight with DD and little one as it's her
birthday tomorrow. ..I'm looking forward to it. She's going to Newcastle with a friend for a little-one free day tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a good day today...I'd better get some jobs done x

Morning all

Bright and sunny here for now but rain due again this afternoon will get the dogs out this morning before the rain comes.

My private client was very hyper yesterday the worst I’ve ever seen him, he certainly kept me on my toes, we got back to his mums and she had been delayed at the Drs she we sat in the car in the pouring rain for 20 minutes, I was shattered by the time I got home and freezing cold and wet through from spending 5 minutes at her door trying to get her to answer the door, she is a bit doddery so I thought she might not be able to hear the door, hot bath when I got in and all was right with the world again 😃

I have put a wash on this morning but it will have to be hung indoors, will have a quick tidy through this morning.
