Personal Independence Payment

Hi, I wonder if anyone know who I can contact in regards to Personal Independence Payment change of circumstances extension to application process.  Currently we are waiting for a charity to help me complete the forms on behalf of my mother-in-law, but the charity is not able to assist until late April.  We was told that we could request an extension for submitting the update PIP forms but I'm unable to get through to anyone in the department.  Anyone know of an email address I could contact ?
Many thanks

    No e-mail address.
You have to keep trying on the phone, best time if when they open lines in the morning,  you can try just before that time.

Best time to ring is as soon as they open. Usually they give you 14 days extension so they may not extend the date for as long as you want. There's a guide here to filling out the form. I assume it's a PIP2 form you have, as it's a change of circumstances. https://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/benefits/sick-or-disabled-people-and-carers/pip/help-with-your-claim/fill-in-form-pip/

Most charities are overwhelmed with the number of people applying. As above they will give you a 14 day extension. I've rung PIP a couple of times this week and not waited longer than 45 mins.

think you must have been lucky.
I've tried twice so far today and it doesn't even give you the chance to wait.
After 6 minutes of pressing buttons the line goes dead.

I got cut off when it asks if you are willing to do a survey at the end of the call. Each time I pressed 'No' I got cut off so pressed yes the next time !!

I wonder if it is worthwhile emailing your respective MP's about this PIP resource issue ?

(Perhaps DWP staff have been redirected to address the more well-known issue with long PC delays -  :)
