Student Loan Repayments from 2nd job

My daughter is a newly qualified nurse and repays her student loan via PAYE as you would expect. She sometimes does extra 'Bank' sessions with a different trust and so receives a different payslip from that Trust and even though this is normally only £100-£200 a week, a student loan repayment is also deducted from her pay. Is that right?

I'm surprised this isn't mentioned more often given the number of NHS staff who will be in a similar position since many trusts use bank contracts to avoid paying overtime.
If they were contracts with different employers then it's simple, they would be treated separately, each contract having their own earnings threshold. Whilst I'm not absolutely sure on this I think, as both contracts are with the same employer, she will be subject to aggregation rules so no separate threshold on her bank contract, hence why she is paying student loan on it too..
Still, it can't do any harm to question payroll as to why it's happening.
