The net result of all this is that if you work out what the actually cheapest is for two( if you want two that is ) and then buy them. Same for one. Not to difficult was it?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

uktim29: You are clearly not a stupid person and, from looking at your posting history, you often seem to have a valid point to make. However, you appear to find it difficult to make a point, valid or otherwise, without simultaneously attempting to belittle somebody who has the temerity to disagree with you. Please try to remember that there are no circumstances under which bullying is acceptable.
For the benefit of anybody still reading this thread, please rely on what I am saying rather than the words of other people trying to misrepresent it.
This is the "warnings & rip-offs board". I didn't post here to complain about losing 25p or 23.8p or 8p or 1.2p or any other amount of money. I posted here to warn people about a rip-off. Simple.
The item in question was offered for sale at £2 for 2 with a sticker describing it as "reduced" but it is not in fact reduced unless you buy exactly one item from a display designed to encourage you to buy more than one. Even if this kind of practice is legal, it is certainly underhand, hence the warning.0 -
I've just read all the previous posts and I got really
, sorry but my reaction was if it bothers you that much - don't buy any, thereby saving £2.00 [
I think!]. Then they won't make any profit.
Maybe choose a different supermarket to shop in tooand save your blood pressure.
I have to agree with general message OP - these organisations have made an art form of confusing the customer with their pricing/reduction
policies.
 The weekly big shop is a mathematical marathon and the amount of time spent in the aisles trying to work out the best deals, makes it all a huge PIB.
Sorry I've gone on a bit.
