Using ESTA for second visit to US - Different Address

Hi,
I am visiting the the US at the end of this month, and have an ESTA that is still active from a visit to Texas last year.
This year I am visiting California.
Do you need to update your US address on the ESTA, as I will be staying in a different part of the country this time?
Thanks

I never go go back and update the address on the ESTA application.
When you submit the API (Advance Travel Information) via the airline shortly before you travel you can give your updated US address then.1 -
esta is just a method of getting money out of tourists...
i get 4 US trips in on 1 esta before going through new application every 2 years....

An odd perspective when its whole purpose is to avoid the need to obtain a visa that costs 7-8 times as much, especially given the comparable costs for tourists travelling in the opposite direction....StuieUK34 said:esta is just a method of getting money out of tourists...0 -
US tourists do not require a visa for UK, and haven't since November 1948.eskbanker said:

I stand corrected, must have been looking at the wrong sites last night - there are certainly references around to UK tourist visas but I didn't research the issue in any detail! However, the main point remains that the ESTA visa waiver mechanism is a much cheaper alternative to a visa for entering the USA, and, as the poster accepted, can be used for numerous visits across two years....CKhalvashi said:

We are agreed on that.eskbanker said:

The UK visa is IIRC about £100 now for single visit. It was always about the same as the PPE one and I have a lot more experience with those than tourist visas.💙💛 💔0 -
as stated this isnt a reciprocal relationship, ie they dont have to pay to come here, in fact because they are part of the B5JSSK they don't even need to see an immigration officer when they arrive in the UK and can freely use the e-gates, unless they are here for purposes other than just visiting.eskbanker said:

Live each day like its your last because one day you'll be right0 -
I believe though that passports are still flagged on the e-gates, this is from previous 'issues' with a person in front of me (who had been refused pre-settled status and therefore was sent to an officer on arrival).phatbear said:

Anyone flagged can therefore be directed to an immigration officer and detailed should there be a problem.💙💛 💔0
