Land registry

Paid for a copy of land registry for a property bought in 2018 but says council still own it why is that?

    All the leasehold titles (if there is perhaps a sublease)? Difficult for us to help without seeing what you're looking at.

    Do they BOTH say council still owner?? I'd expect they would be for freehold, but if also for leasehold I ask your solicitor/conveyancer of purchases what the f*** is going on. 

    NB Do you claim to be owner of the property in question or were you just having a look??
