Morning
Looks like we are in for rain here soon. Heating on for a bit as my hands are feet are useless in the cold.
Gers Race across the world is back on. I know you liked it so thought of you.
Asda arriving today with a top up. Usual grump about the amount of food for the amount spent.
Cleaner coming tomorrow so the usual clean up before the cleaner day today.
Have a good day all13 -

Morning all, I didn't get on yesterday as we took the opportunity to fix Dad's shed roof. Luckily we finished it when we did as about an hour later the heavens opened and down came the heavy rain. I spent most of my time trying to keep Dad off the ladders, he forgets he's almost 94 and bit doddery even on the ground now. Dad treated us to fish and chips from the chippy as a thank you.
Today the sun is out again but don't think it will last as the skies are already darkening and it's quite windy. Nothing much going on here today, just pottering and doing my jigsaw.
Take care all, hugs to anyone in need.

Hi everyone,
Nelski, we all love Race around the World. Laura and Brian watch it saying that they could do better and to be fair they probably could, Brian could sell sand in the desert and Laura has never met a stranger. I do wonder if it will be as good when they don't have to struggle with language.
We have had a night of it, poor little Esther has been in pain and vomiting all night, Laura has taken her to the Dr because she has been pulling on her ears for a couple of days so we want to check if that is causing the upset stomach. Typically Brian has flown up to Glasgow this morning, he'll be back on Monday so will probably miss all the fireworks.
I didn't post yesterday because I had a migraine all day and slept away most of it, just as well as I was up half the night with Laura and the baby. Today will be another quiet one, I really don't have a clue about dinner, hopefully inspiration will strike later.14 -
Morning all,our weather is alternating between sunny but windy, and then showers. I nipped into town on the early bus to top up on bread and sandwich ham & get something DGS requested yesterday - a gingerbread biscuit in the shape of Scooby Doo! They're from a local bakery chain & are his favourite treat. They didn't have any as they are concentrating on Easter shapes, so I got an Easter bunny. Interesting to note they're the same price as a Scoob but quite a bit smaller. Bought 2 new nighties from bonmarche, one was reduced to £6. Quite a few of mine have gone in the recent charity bag..I need to sweep the kitchen/ dining room now and mop. I gave it all a good vacuum yesterday but lots of little leaves have appeared again, probably off Ly1as feet, or mine even though we have mats front and back.Snoozer hope you and DGD feel better soon.TA good the favourite lunch venue is back to its best!Bye for now, take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. I've been reminded that today is the third anniversary of our first Covid lockdown - seems so far away.My cleaner helped put on the duvet cover, it was so much easier with two.
I went off to the tip, did a little shopping, had a wee linger in a local cafe and then a lovely chat with another shop owner. Now at home. Had some of my wilted veggies soup with a bacon roll for lunch so am feeling good with my day.

Very odd week this week - in the office twice rather than once - both dogs have injured their right leg (and I think both will be expensive yay for insurance) and it’s rained buckets….
