British Gas - extra 'outgoing payment' after gas/electric bill?

Each month my online account shows the following:
Gas - Direct Debit +£53.69
Electricity - Direct debit +76.01

This month I see my 6 month/annual cycle bills have been put on so I also have:
Electricity Bill -£322.77
Gas Bill - -£302.17

all fair enough so far...

But in each section I also have the following:
Gas - Outgoing payments -£123.70
Electricity - Outgoing payments -£59.29

Any idea what these are? I am assuming they are payments out of my account as a refund as my bills were far lower than the DD payments and the Gov energy discount which was sent to my bank was also listed as 'outgoing payments' - is this the case or are they something else?

I had an "outgoing payment" of ~ £110 in December - it was in line with my annual review as BG reduced my balance to a nominal £75 (just happens to be the penalty for leaving the fix early !!) With the (then) potential increases after April ,I would rather that they didn't refund - however .......

Have they refunded money to your bank? That would be the easiest way of ruling out that possibility, surely?
