Husband applied to PIP tribunal last week.
He had a call today from DWP, to ask him about Question 12 (mobility).
What happens next ?

Sounds like they could be looking for further information to make him an offer to avoid it getting to tribunal maybe?1

They may offer a change to the PIP proposal. If offered they should ring husband to confirm he is willing to accept the change. (If the amended proposal is for enhanced award of both components DWP may simply tell this to husband and stop the tribunal.)Husband can then accept any change and this will stop the existing tribunal. If he remains unhappy with the proposed change
i) he can refuse the change and the existing tribunal will continue or
ii) he can accept the change, although the existing tribunal will end, he can then make a new tribunal request to continue any outstanding concerns.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.2
