Tax reclaim on PPI payout - no longer have the records

Options
I had two PPI payouts totalling several thousand pounds. However, I never kept any of the paperwork once the sums were paid to me - I kept for a couple of years and then disposed of it (only so much paper you can keep hold of!). So now I can't remember exactly the accounts that the PPI was paid out on, the amounts paid and tax charged, nor the dates. Is there any way of getting hold of this information now, so I can reclaim the tax back? Thanks in anticipation.

Ask the company who made the payment to you.

But don't bother if it was paid before 6 April 2019 as you are too late now to claim a refund.
