Cornwall Council Ignore All These Relief Schemes

My dad contacted the council himself as a rehabilitation challenge he has physical mobility disability, degenerative conditions and smhi. They made him ill in their pursuit of money and first thing they wanted the whole tax.
They rejected having a downstairs bedroom and washing facilities, mobility and health issues..all these had generated discounts before in Devon, Surrey etc.
they dismissed all of them saying “we don’t do those “. He was receiving tax bills from them and more demands weekly sometimes eight in a week.
the severe mental health impairment had to be assessed by a Cornish GP and consultants outside the county didn’t count. So we got it recorded and got 75% off for 10 days.Then I moved in because he had got so bad. Bang back up even though as a student and or carer. I had ruined the discount. I was paying tax at my home and costing an ill man over a thousand pounds.
Cornwall are relentless and uncaring so I launched a formal complaint. Under Cornwall council rules the female officer reviewed herself. She found she was appropriate and correct. I sent copies to council officials around the department and got half off and then a bit more for his low income.. I think they allowed him £18 a week to live on. Do Not Move To Cornwall If You Are Disabled.
