Virgin Atlantic Auto-Exchange Tesco Clubcard

I hope that this is the right place for this question. Tesco are giving a bonus if you set up auto-exchange for Clubcard vouchers to Virgin Atlantic points. Does anyone know if this refers to future points that you earn, or if it automatically converts points that you already have in your account?

it will convert whatever points you have irrespective of when they were earned
