Their customer service has been shocking, confrontational and for a product that prides itself on quality its no such thing.
I've nothing to add on your particular issue but do agree with your summary above.
I kitted out my kitchen with over £6k of Neff appliances a few years ago and practically every single one failed in one way or another in the first couple of years. Their quality is shockingly poor and I would never buy or recommend a Neff product again.

That would surpise me for even the crappiest budget brand. Are you sure there isn't something else going on? An issue with the electrical supply in the kitchen for instance? Excessive moisture pooling and causing damage?

I can tell you that the projector onto the floor on the dishwasher is simply turned off in the settings.
Sorry, a lazy description of the problem from me; the floor display illuminated but it was completely blurred, impossible to actually read the time remaining or any other information it was displaying.

No, nothing else going on, it was the first thing we had checked when the third item failed, just poor quality Neff ovens and appliances.
We completely gutted the kitchen and put brand new electrics in with a new consumer unit and installed one of those continuous running smart humidity fans; there's a number of non-Neff appliances on the same new wiring and none have ever had a problem, only the Neff stuff failed.

  • Okay, I understand. There's a prism lens under the dishwasher. Possibly something may have smeared on the lens. (Sounds silly)...but, lay on your back on the floor; find the opening, then clean the lens with a cloth. Hopefully that'll be okay.

The lens is a fixed-focus so if, for some reason, your dishwasher is fitted at an unusual height, then it won't be sharp.
