Council tax reduction

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long it takes to hear back after applying for reduction in council tax

May vary from different councils - some do take many weeks.Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.1

It depends on the reduction I guess
In my case 25% single occupier it was done instantly over a phone call1 -

It will depend on your local authorities back log of work. Most are understaffed1
