Min £10 off £50 spend at Tesco online

The Basics

Spend more than £50 on all electrical, DIY and gardening goods at Tesco online before Sunday 19 June 2005, and you will be given 1000 Clubcard points, which is equivalent to either a voucher for £10 spending in store or £34 discounts via Tesco Deals (on days out of similar items - see valuing your reward card points)

Maximising the gain

You can discount this further by going through cashback sites (if you don't know what those are then read 'Cutting Edge Internet Shopping Techiques' to find out more.

If you're a member of the Rpoints cashback site then using this Tesco link will earn you an extra 1.5% discount. If you're not (and if you can't be bothered) the points will go towards helping MoneySavingExpert.com

Other cashback sites also have similar deals

Can someone do another thread merge on this topic please?
There are 2 others running on the shop but don't drop, and I'm sure anyone coming here via the link would like to see all the discussion to date.

    Thanks,
    Mumx

unfortunately, Mumstheword, if we merge the other threads in with this one Martin's opening post giving the details he wanted to give would be pushed far down the thread because the posts are listed chronologically when threads are merged.

Links to the other threads are here so people can look them up if they want to see the discussions:

  • Thought y'all might like to know that Tesco are offering the Pure Evoke 1xt DAB radio (that's the new version with the alarm clock) for £89.99 plus 1,000 clubcard points with free delivery if you order off the web. That makes the net cost £79.99 delivered which is at least £5 cheaper than anything that I can find using comparison shoppping from sites like Kelkoo. Looks like the real deal to me......

I have ordered a big item from tesco extra (electrical dept) i ordered on 13th june (monday)just want to no some questions

when does the order get dispatched?

Do they send u an e-mail or it show on your order page that it has been dispatched?

When do they contact you to arrange a delivery time?

Does it come in a tesco van or some other van?

How long does it take for them to deliver ur item once its been dispatched from warehouse.

It depends on the item you buy. I think Tesco don't necessarily hold stock of the items themselves, but have them shipped from their suppliers. You can get a bit of a clue from the delivery lead time quoted for each item. If it's more than 3 or 4 days, it's more than likely coming from a supplier directly.

I ordered a barbeque when they had their 10% off offer on, and it arrived on Tuesday via ParcelForce with no obvious Tesco branding on it.

I think it depends upon the item you order but here is an extract from the Tesco website for the Sonic Toothbrush
    Delivery
In stock in our warehouse, normally delivered within 3-7 working days after you have received your order confirmation email.

Order confirmation emails are sent after security checks have been completed which can take up to 48hrs.

Items up to the size of bikes or large TVs are held in a Tesco warehouse. It's mainly items that a warehouse picker couldn't physically move into a two-sided cage that come direct from manufacturers, such as cookers
Thanks to all who post constructively.
