Are we all hiding from the storm? The wind has blustered its way through the night whilst torrential rain has battered down at the same time. It's been wild like a December storm although one without a name. I slept fitfully as the noise from it all was so loud.Yesterday I went into town first thing then went up to Oban for some shopping. The day was mostly dry so I enjoyed the drive. Added to this was being held up for a short while to let a flock of sheep move from one field to another. It's such a country thing to happen on a main road. All the sheep knew where to go, they didn't need much guidance from the farmers, only a border collie behind them. Mind you, there was one sheep which was being retrieved from the ha-ha in the first field. 😂 All so delightful.Back at home I spend a few hours setting up my financial spreadsheets ready for April. Once more I had an annoying formula problem with one, it took me a wee while to track it down. I'd rearranged the info so managed to disrupt something. I'm happy now it's been found.Today I'm going to use up bendy veggies to make a strange soup, it'll be a combination of leeks and broccoli, I'm hoping that it won't be vile, I'll throw in lentils, herbs and a bit of spice. As that's cooking I have a little pile of paperwork to scan and then burn.I hope that everyone is holding up. Happy Wednesday to all.11

Morning Everyone and thank you for starting us off @Gers
Nothing much planned for today.
Such sad news @TravellingAbuela regarding your BFF.
Hope everyone has a good Wednesday11 -
Morning folks and thanks GERS. Fortunately we haven't got your stormy weather so will you please keep it up there. We have sunshine and no rain is forecast until tonight - although we do have a bit of a gusty wind blowing.
Just the 2 of us for lunch out yesterday, my BFF didn't make it and I wasn't really expecting her to. It's all so sad how quickly this has happened. This time last year they were packing for a holiday in Malta to meet up with their DGD when she found the lump leading to the mastectomy and chemo..
Today is bus trip day and, being a decent day, we are off to Skipton again and maybe the market will be fully up and running today. Of course lunch will be involved. I have a few little jobs to do first, dw to empty, litter tray to change, etc. Nothing too taxing!
Have a good day folks if you can and ((HUGS)) for our poorlies, getting better or MIA. Take care all and be safe xx.

Morning all
Not a nice day here pouring with rain and very blowy, I have one client coming today and he is the one who doesn’t really like to do much he especially doesn’t like any type of bad weather so I will attempt to get him out for a while and if he doesn’t want to we can bake a cake and do some art work or watch a film.
Chicken goujons with chips and peas tonight will cut some chips this morning ready to cook later. I have put a wash on but it will have to go on the airer as too wet outside.
I need to have a hoover round before my guest comes but house is pretty tidy otherwise.
Have good days all and stay safe xxx12 -

Morning everyone
Very windy here too but lovely blue skies.
No work today so I'll go down to mam and dads for a cuppa this morning. Then I'm stewarding at our local cinema/theatre this afternoon for The Fabelmans - I'm looking forward to seeing it.
It's quite a long one so I'll have to remember my sweets!
Had a nice chat with DD last night - she is going to Dubai tonight to visit a friend who moved there at the beginning of the year. She is going with another friend so will have company on the journey.
Well I'm going to get on with my jobs. Hope everyone has a good day x12 -
Morning all, it's lovely now, still windy but had torrential rain during the night. I don't think I posted yesterday. I went into town on the bus early. I got a side of salmon and some lamb chops from the fish/meat market, then next door to see my veg man,I should have taken my trolley, my shoulders were aching. I think I'll get him to do a delivery for Easter. It didn't help that I had 3 big hardbacks to take back to the library too
- I only got 2 books to borrow yesterday, a paperback, and a thin hardback!
I also got a new case for my phone, the other was very shabby & peeling .Nothing much planned until 3 when we go to pick DGS up from school. Hope the traffic is ok, the big alterations that caused chaos have mainly finished now, but we get caught on the way back to DS2s.TA sorry you didn't see your BFF.Time for a coffee now, take care all x

Mornng. Did a bit of garden tiding and sorting yesterday and it hammered it down last night, think Gers weather, so I'm going to check my water butts in a bit. They've become the new compost bin...I have spent and new [my own] compost mixed ready to go on the front garden but need my wheelbarrow which is full of new compost and the wheel needs doing so that's in a bit when I'm dressed. I've showered already which is a big win first thing, and I'm starving so tea and breakfast first. There are plants to be planted, seeds to be sown and a blood letting at the hospital today, probably OH to take to work again , his bike is being done, he cant use mine because that is making weird noises too, so I am the taxi today...Gers, I do love a bit of wild weather as long as I'm safely indoors, did have a giggle at the ha-ha...Rosy, it must be the end of year thing, there are roadowrks everyhwere here too..Take care all, have a good one if you can..Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi11
