I have just looked up this on your money savings page and an hour later a company rang me to do this for me called Pandadoc. Not sure if they are legit and said they charge 30% of anything claimed back and no charge otherwise. 
Is this company okay as when u have to fill in the R40 form on the hrmc, it asks for specific amounts and I wouldn't remember these.

MSE does not sell your details to anyone.   Plus, your MSE forum details are anonymous.  i.e. they don't know your real name or your contact details.  What has likely happened is just coincidence.   

MSE wouldnt promote the use of this type of company either as its an area rife with scammers and dodgy companies.

In which case you shouldnt employ any company as false declarations to HMRC get you in a load of grief.    And if you do have the data, then you can put it on the R40 yourself.  its not a difficult form.
