Cash ISA £20k limit - Is it £20k max PAID IN, or £20k max NET of paid in vs paid out?

Hi.
I've paid in £20k into my cash ISA this year, and withdrawn £2,000 from it.
Can I pay in an additional £2k now to bring the total back to £20k? Or have I already hit the max for this this tax year?
Thanks.

If it's a flexible ISA you can reinstate the £2K, otherwise you can't....3

Hmm. Not sure. It's a cash ISA. I'll check. Would it have the word "flexible" in there?eskbanker said:If it's a flexible ISA you can reinstate the £2K, otherwise you can't....

Not necessarily in its name, but it should be somewhere within its product info....What_time_is_it said:

Doesn't seem like it, now that I've checked. It's a Virgin Easy Access Cash ISA Exclusive.eskbanker said:

No mention of "flexible" anywhere.0 -
If it's the currently available product, labelled as issue 2, then it's flexible, as per https://uk.virginmoney.com/savings/products/easy_access_cash_isa_exclusive_issue_2/#can-i-withdraw-moneyWhat_time_is_it said:

No mention of "flexible" anywhere.- As this is a flexible ISA, you can take money out from your account and put it back in (most of the time) without it counting towards your annual ISA allowance. But remember, you'll need to replace any money you've taken out in the same tax year or you won't be able to replace it.

Yes! Thank you so much. I missed that.
It is indeed a flexible ISA so it does look like I can pay the £2k back in before April 6th.
Thank you.0 -
Does it not tell you remaining allowance for the year? I don't have a Virgin ISA or a Flexible ISA but with HL for instance it tells me how much allowance I have left in total across ISA products I hold with them.What_time_is_it said:Yes! Thank you so much. I missed that.
